Last week, we learned that Shane Black’s hugely-anticipated, upcoming Predator reboot/sequel/thing is going to be an intriguing mixture of horror, sci-fi and western elements. The movie will also most likely not feature Arnold Schwarzenegger (boo).
And now, we have our very first image of (most of) the cast in character, courtesy of Black’s Twitter.
The director, who is helming the flick alongside Monster Squad‘s Fred Dekker, on writing duties, Tweeted the following:

Holbrook confirmed last week that The Predator is most definitely not a sequel, rubbishing earlier reports suggesting that it would be a direct sequel to the first film, ignoring everything that came after it.
Thankfully, this now seems to not be the case.
For Black’s part, he recently revealed that his Predator would be getting some serious upgrades. Internet rumours suggest a brand-new Predator is set to terrorize the cast–one that measures up to ten feet tall.
Cinematographer Larry Fong (300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch, Super 8 and the upcoming Kong: Skull Island) is lensing, with filming set to begin very shortly, in Vancouver.
