Directed by Jon Amiel, Copycat follows Helen (Sigourney Weaver), an expert on serial killers. After Helen is attacked by her own serial killer superfan (Harry Connick, Jr.), she retreats from the outside world. Unfortunately, a new madman (William McNamara) has begun his own bloody trail of murders inspired by famous serial killers of the past. He has made Helen his new target, and her expertise is put to the test when she is forced to team up with two detectives (Holly Hunter and Dermot Mulroney) to solve these crimes. Copycat is for the horror fan that enjoys psychological thrillers and solid performances with a little serial killer true crime history thrown in.
