‘At the Devil’s Door’ is Coming to Select Theaters

At the Devil’s Door is the much anticipated second feature film from Nicholas McCarthy, writer/director of The Pact. IFC Films has recently announced that the film will receive a limited theatrical bow beginning September 12th. But if you can’t wait to see the film on the big screen, it is currently available via select VOD content providers.

So far, At the Devil’s Door has received generally positive reviews from genre film critics. However, it hasn’t generated enough overall critiques to produce an aggregate score from Rotten Tomatoes. Though the storyline will bear some similarities to McCarthy’s previous film, The Pact, it looks as though At the Devil’s Door may still be an enjoyable standalone effort.

At the Devil’s Door follows Leigh, a successful, young real estate agent as she is tasked with selling a home with a dark past. As Leigh begins to look into the history of the house, she encounters the runaway daughter of the couple who are listing the property. The runaway child involves both Leigh and her sister Vera in a web of supernatural mayhem that puts all of their lives in danger. The film stars Catalina Sandino Moreno (Magic Magic), Naya Rivera (Frankenhood), and Ashley Rickards (American Horror Story).

You can check out At the Devil’s Door in select theaters September 12th or now via select VOD content providers.
