Spike’s The Mist Pilot Has Found a Director

The Mist - Spike

We have just learned that Adam Bernstein (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad) has signed on to helm the pilot episode of Spike TV’s upcoming adaptation of The Mist. The series will be lensing this summer for a 2017 debut.

What we know so far is that Spike TV bumped the original order for a pilot to a total of ten one-hour episodes. The project will be written and executive produced by Christian Torpe (Rita). No definitive word, just yet, on whether or not Torpe will be directing any episodes of the series for the network. No casting announcements have been made at this juncture. But stay tuned for more on this currently in development project as we learn it!

Similar to the feature film, the series will follow the residents of a small town as they deal with a mist of unknown origin that initially seems harmless but soon proves to be anything but.
