As we previously reported, Jeepers Creepers 3 is now filming. If you are interested in appearing in the film as an extra, you may be in luck. The production is seeking men in the Louisiana area age 18-30. They are specifically after men who drive a car manufactured pre-2001 in any color but black, red, or white. More details from the casting announcement and contact information can be found in the announcement below.
The recently released plot outline reads as follows: “Trish Jenner is now a mother of a teenage son named Darry, named after the brother she lost 23 years ago. Trish has a recurring nightmare where her son suffers the same fate as her brother did, killed by the Creeper. Determined to prevent this from happening, Trish, who is now a rich and powerful woman, sets out on a final quest with Jack Taggart Sr. and Jr. to end the Creeper’s reign of terror once and for all. The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins.”
The sequel is lensing in Louisiana. We also know that the Creeper’s truck with the BEATNGU license plate will be heavily featured in the latest installment.
About a year ago, a Canadian casting agency actually pulled down a casting notice after concerns about director Victor Salva’s past arose. But the production appears to be back on track now.
What we know about the third installment in the series so far is that Victor Salva will be returning to write and direct. Actors Jonathan Breck (The Creeper), Gina Phillips (Trish), and Brandon Smith (Sergeant Tubbs) are all expected to return. Stan Shaw (The Monster Squad) will also be appearing. Adrienne Barbeau was rumored to be attached but posted an official statement to her Facebook page denying the claims.
